English Language

 

   In the Philippines, we have two official languages, which are Filipino and English. Filipino is our first language while English is our second. Most people here in our country uses the English language whether they are conversing to one another or sending messages. Why is this language so important that it became our second language and is used by everyone?

    In today's business world, English is the foremost language all over the world. When working abroad, knowing how to speak in English is an advantage because you can get more job opportunities, The English language is increasingly used as the primary language in political and business field because it is the only language that all of us can understand even though we have a different race. English can be beneficial if you are seeking job opportunities and global companies, If a person knows how to fluently speak this, the he/she has the potential of succeeding in the labor market.

   It ties the gap and unites different people because it's the only language that connects the whole world together,English could help open professional and literary doors. The language definitely broadens our horizon and enriches our lives.

   To learn English does not mean you don't have pride for your country. It doesn't mean we are turning our backs on our nationality as Filipinos or other nationality. This doesn't lead to betrayal towards our country, its simply a great help to open up the probability of success knocking on our doors. Speaking English is helpful in every way and we have to keep in mind, applying this, it is our chance to get help to open and result to our success.

The Soul of the Great Bell: A Story Told and Reflected

Introduction The story the “ Soul of the Great Bell” is a Chinese Legend retold in English by an American Journalist, Lafcadio Hearn. Though he had a hard time understanding the Chinese language, it didn’t stop him from completing the tale. The story somehow ignited my thirst of knowledge for the traditions and cultures of China or in other words, my curiosity about my ancestors’ background took over me as I read the story but then I realized, I don’t have to look up that much of information in the internet because it is already in the story. It may not be many but its enough. Bakit Nanghuhusga ang mga Tao sa Kapwa?

Ang panghuhusga ay nakakasaktan at nakakasira ng isang tao. Litrato mula sa Success Magazine. Lahat tayo ay may iba't ibang katangian maging pisikal mn o hindi, iba’t iba rin ang ating kaisipan, saloobin at paniniwala at iba’t iba rin ang ating kwento. Ngunit sa kabila ng ating mga katangian na naiiba sa lahat, palaging nilalagay natin ang ating kapwa sa isang pangkat para bang kilala natin sila. Ang ganitong aksyon ay panghuhusga, panghuhusga sa ating buong kataohan. Bakit nanghuhusgahan tayo sa iba nang hindi naman natin alam ang kabilang panig ng barya?
